    Self-care includes the prosperity of your mind, emotions, spirit and soul, and your body. It is vital but mostly it is considered to be selfish or ruse. Self-care makes you more vigorous. When you ignore certain things in your life, your mental and physical health increases, you decrease your confidence and self-esteem. It is significant to build a healthy bond with yourself, known as self-love. It provides you positive feelings. Self-care is your New Year’s resolution.

    Self-care is not only important for you, it is significant for your family and friends too!

    • Ask yourself what you require. Repeat the acronym “H A L T” as a suggestion to know that if you are hungry, angry, lonely or tired.
    • Divide the tasks into little parts, possible portions so you do not get overpowered.
    • Remove the negative vibes from your life. When you are trying to spend your time with your family avoid words like can’t, won’t and don’ts.
    • Enjoy laughing to the full. Laughter is the best medicine to improve your mental and physical health. Making yourself smile or laugh regularly has been experimentally shown to discharge endorphins, the good vibe chemicals that improve your temper.
    • Seeking help from others when you need it. There are a lot of people in your life who love you and are willing to perform your to-do list undertakings, but this would not happen until you seek help from them.
    • From your goal list, celebrate for the achievements you have conquered. These achievements are not important tasks but your daily performances like sorting your closet, writing and compensating your budget. Enjoy completing something for yourself.
    • On a busy day, enjoy a nap for less than thirty minutes. This short nap will recharge your energy for the remaining day.
    • During the day “Me Time” is the most important factor in self-care. During a month, one or two days are compulsory as lazy days. Use your leisure time watching Netflix or YouTube.

    • Meditation and isolation are an important aspect of self-care. Mediation allows you to observe yourself, resultantly proving a way to be pleased with yourself.
    • For once go to the salon or parlor for your grooming. Even if you can set your hair yourself, do it at home. To have a hair massage relax your mind. Both men and women must get an infrequent skincare treatment.
    • Keep your home clean. Being good to yourself also includes being good to your surroundings. Your messy home is only overloading your brain.
    • Try not to feel difficult in saying “NO”. It is not difficult to be a Yes-man or woman every time. The problem with saying yes to the majority of people makes less opportunities for your self-time. You are involved in so many other matters that you get no time for yourself.
    • Enjoy your time with the people you like. Go to lunch outside, dine or drink tea with your companions at least once in a month.
    • Observe the food you eat. Go for the raw food first. Eat as many fruits and vegetables as you can eat and keep yourself hydrated by drinking a lot of water.

    2. It improves your immune system. It has been proved that the self-care routines are helpful in activating your Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS). It means to relax your body to improve your immune system and boost your stamina.
    3. It improves your physical health. With the improved immune system, there is less chance of catching flu, cold, temperature, and other seasonal ailments. Less tension and a better immune system make you enjoy being physically capable to be strong and confident.
    4. It helps you maintain your self-esteem. When you spare time for yourself you focus more on your life and routine. You ignore many negative feelings and create a separate bond with your subconscious. You treat yourself like you want to treat yourself in the eyes of others.
    5. After spending much time with yourself you get to know certain things about yourself. It has expended your self-knowledge. It focuses your attention to know what your interests are and what you are willing to do with your whole energy. It allows you to capture opportunities in your life and helps you to abstain from previous bad habits.

    You have to be yourself and you cannot fill any other person if you do not have you!
